After spending years considering a career in Real Estate, I finally made the jump in 2021 and am thrilled to work on the very successful Jessica Haro Team with Compass!
Previous to real estate I was running my own business, a Zero-Waste retail shop in my hometown of Lafayette. The mantra, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is very important to me and it was an honor to bring that mantra to life for my community. My main background though was in hospitality, having spent many years in the wine and restaurant industry, from management to the high school frozen yogurt shop job - I loved getting to know new people and make sure that their experiences with me and the restaurant or winery that I worked at, were memorable, fun and filled with positivity.
Pair that background with my love of interior and exterior design and it’s just the right combination! I care deeply that my clients have a positive, seemless transaction when purchasing a home and I will go above and beyond to make sure that that happens.
Born and raised in Walnut Creek, I followed my brother to school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and stayed for six years before moving back to the Bay. I’ve lived in Lafayette for twelve years now, but I‘ve also lived in Pleasant Hill, Clayton, Concord, and my favorite of all, Oakland. All this to say, I know the East Bay like the back of my hand. My dedication, can-do attitude and love of the job will always be brought to the table and I’m excited to share this journey with you!

About Jessica
After an extensive 15-year career in the luxury and corporate event industry, Jessica Haro transitioned her skill set into the East Bay real estate market in the Compass Lafayette & Walnut Creek offices.
Jessica’s extensive experience with high-end event planning gave her the ability to visualize a space for all of its possibilities - ultimately giving her buyers the edge in falling in love with a home that others might pass up and helping her sellers prepare and stage their home to garner top dollar. Additionally, Jessica has spent time working on strategic social media campaigns and marketing projects for real estate agents and brands to help elevate their exposure in the consumer space.
Jessica’s natural excitement for her clients during their home search is palatable as she feels truly honored to be their partner during such an important time in their lives. Through her years of experience in highly stressful, and often emotional situations, Jessica developed a knack for remaining calm, seeing the big picture, and ensuring that her clients always feel confident and satisfied throughout their experience.
Born and raised in Marin County, Jessica and her husband are currently raising their two children, three chickens, new puppy and a cat in the East Bay. Attending Arizona State University and living in the Midwest for a couple years, she has always been drawn back to Northern California. Jessica’s love, passion, and knowledge of the Bay Area runs deep and she is excited to share that with her clients on their journey.
